CONTROL Resonant Patterned Thought: Where to Get It
Check Unknown's vendor first if you need Patterned Thought for crafting. A single pickup is also reported in the Pulse Fitness hidden room, while Hedron-related combat provides a progression lead. None of these sources establishes an unlimited, repeatable farm or a fixed drop rate.

Sportskeeda lists the material under the vendor's base stock as well as later vendor levels. That does not support a “Vendor Level 3 only” gate. Go to the northeast vendor and inspect the current stock before spending other resources on a supposed unlock. Vendor listing
Take the hideout pickup if it is still available
The gym puzzle uses five actions: slow treadmill, fast bike, vending-machine pause, fast treadmill, slow bike. Enter the passage that opens beside the bike and collect the contents. The source reports one Patterned Thought there; repeating the device sequence has not been shown to regenerate the reward. Recorded pickup
Treat Hedron as a lead, not a farming promise
Dr33d's material reference associates Patterned Thought with Hedron enemies. A separate Hedron Parallel walkthrough reports three Patterned Thought after that boss encounter. This is a recorded completion event, not proof that the boss respawns or that every Hedron enemy yields three. Material reference, reported boss reward
What should you save it for?
The published Golden Earrings recipe uses 10 Patterned Thought, alongside the matching Untapped item, Source and Odd Echo. Ten is the recipe's material requirement, not the quantity from one enemy. Compare your inventory with the current formation menu before purchasing more. Recipe
Use the Underpass Resonant route to obtain the reported Untapped Golden Earrings reward. Then follow Artifact Formation to craft and equip it. If you actually need Ordered Image, check that separate material page instead of treating the two as interchangeable.
